Choosing leather for your chair
The leather for your chair according to your requirements
Are you looking for a very specific color? You can provide me with a photo example or a code obtained from a RAL color chart. I will send you leather samples as soon as necessary to ensure that your expectations are met.
- Visible grain, marked, smooth;
- Treated leather, usually coated, resistant to abrasion, stains, easily washable, almost waterproof, similar to automotive leather, the downside being less patina over time and a not so "natural" touch;
- Suede/nubuck (very sensitive to stains, warmer than classic leather, incomparable feel, resistant to abrasion);
- Leather printed with patterns, embossed leather imitation snake, crocodile;
- Leather type with hair;
- Anything is possible!
Refurbishing the filling on a Charles Pollock chair
Complete cleaning of your chair's fabric
If the upholstery of your chair (leather/fabric/wool/tweed ...) has become dirty after years of use, the foam filling has generally suffered the same damage, making your chair uncomfortable. I can dismantle your chair, thoroughly clean the upholstery, replace the padding and breathe new life into your Charles Pollock chair. The fabrics used to upholster Knoll chairs are of very high quality and extremely durable, usually foam wears out before upholstery.
